About Me
Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science, from Ontario Tech University. It was during her studies that she discovered her passion for hands-on treatments and recognized the profound impact of combining them with exercise to enhance recovery and overall well-being. This insight led her to pursue massage therapy at the renowned Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.
Jenna’s treatment approach is centered on deep tissue techniques, incorporating stretching and myofascial release to address her client's needs. While her primary focus is therapeutic, she also offers relaxation-based treatments when appropriate to ensure a well-rounded approach to healing.

-
What should I expect during my first massage therapy session?During your first session, the therapist will ask about your health history, current physical conditions, and any areas of pain or tension. Based on this information, they will tailor the treatment to your needs. You’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level, and only the area being worked on will be exposed.
-
What are the benefits of regular massage therapy?Regular massage therapy can reduce muscle tension, alleviate stress, improve flexibility, enhance circulation, aid in injury prevention, and promote overall physical and mental well-being. It can also help manage chronic pain and support the healing process of injuries.
-
Can massage therapy help with my chronic pain or injuries?Yes! Therapeutic massage techniques, such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, are effective in addressing chronic pain, muscle stiffness, and injury recovery. Your therapist will customize your treatment to target specific areas of concern.
-
Will massage therapy be painful?Massage therapy should not cause extreme discomfort, but some techniques—especially deep tissue or trigger point therapy—may involve a level of pressure that feels intense or slightly painful. You can always communicate with your therapist to adjust the pressure to a level that feels right for you.
-
How soon will I feel the effects of a massage? The immediate benefits of a massage, such as relaxation and improved circulation, can be felt right after the session. For pain relief or injury recovery, it may take a few sessions to notice significant improvement. Ongoing treatments will continue to promote healing and long-term benefits.
